Black Molly's Tail

Hey everyone. I'm not sure what's going on here, so I thought I'd see what you all thought. I cycled my tank with a Black Molly. She's done rather well it seems (even had babies, so now I have many more than one) but the reason I'm writing is her tail. She has stayed hidden 98% of the time she's been in there (about 5 weeks) and I haven't seen her really good until today when I added my first saltwater fish, an Ocellaris clown. The problem seems to be the Molly's tail has, for lack of a better word, holes in it. It's not just around the edges, there are literally small pin sized holes IN the tail. Anyone have any idea what this might be and if it may be contagious for my clown? :(
