My yellow tang has these tiny blck things on him that you can only see up close. They are smaller than a pinhead. He is still as mobile and hungry as ever and he has had this for about 5-6 weeks. Anyone know what these little spots are??
Black spot disease, also referred to as Black Ich. This is a fish disease caused by a small parasitic turbellarian flatworm. It is not as deadly as white ick, but it does need to be treated.
Formalin baths every other day for an hour.
