Black sailfin blenny - dead

A few weeks ago we ordered a load of snails and a black sailfin blenny from another online place which I'll leave unmentioned

. We acclimated slowly and released. The snails did fine and the blenny was very pale but we figured that was normal and he would color back up as he de-stressed. To get him started we even made sure to put algae sheets down where he was and could get to easily. After only a few days he died. We called the company and they sent out another one. He came in today DOA. We decided to get store credit for now instead of trying again. We found one empty snail shell but we figure losing one out of 24 isn't anything to worry over. The rest are all doing just fine!
What gives? Are they poor shippers or should I start looking for another source to buy from?

Dane, buy fish from your local stores! You can see what condition they are in, if they are eating, or not swimming right. You can actually see what you are getting and pick a healthy fish. Keep your local store in business, you will need them at some time.
