black versus maroon

Any input on black (ocellaris, I believe), or maroon?
There are maroon with gold bands, and maroon with the normal bands. The pictures that I have seen show the Maroon with gold bands having a darker stronger maroon coloring to it. Is this acurate?

My gold stripe maroon is a very deep color. Can be agressive , especially in a smaller tank. Hosts everything in my tank :hilarious (4 different anenomes and corals).
