Black water via Carbon bag

So I did my daily routine of cleaning out my canister filter and rinsed my AC (activated carbon) in running water. It says you dont have to let it run clean because it never does. So I never have for a year (change it about 3-4 times and never had this problem). I just rinsed it to get dust and what not out of it.
Place it into the tank.. and now I have a blackish tint to the water..

Easiest way to remove this crap w/o having to change water. Or will it eventually just filter itself?

i stopped using carbon.. but one time i completely forgot to rinse the carbon out was in a hurry next thing i knew was the tank was black.. i didnt have the time to do anything about it so i just left it be and when i got home couple hours later it was all cleared up... didnt seem to have any effects on the critters in the tank..

Won't do anything to the tank, just is ugly for awhile. May, upset some coral if the larger particles fall on them, but, should with time be just fine. Just, try not to do it again.
