got him tuesday and when i feed the tank, he swims up to the brine and flakes and stuff like hes hungry, but he either just stares at it when he gets close enough to see what it is, or he sucks it in and spits it right out
SWF says it eats clams, but its mouth is so tiny, i have no idea how it would be able to bite off chunks of clam
he hasnt eaten yet and i wanna do what i can, please help, very active fish otherwise

Great fish. One of the sturdier butterflies. Mine eats everything. Try mysis shrimp, Marine Cuisine, Emerald Entree'. You can purchase clam, scallops and shrimp from a grocer or seafood market. Chop or mince it into small pieces. The fish will be able to eat it. Mine also eats pellets, and loves nori on a clip. Give it a good variety for optimal health. A pic of mine.

gorgeous, looks similar to mine, except not as black on the top until it gets nervous, very noticable black dot on its tail
and i planned on trying some clams today for him, ive been throwing in algae tablets and whatever else i had to see what he would like, ill try the nori too
dirty glass and blurry because i had to zoom in, always runs to the back of the tank when i get close
