Blackout Woes!!!

I thought I made it through the great blackout unscathed, but I may have jumped to conclusions. Neither my seahorse nor my volitan lion (don't worry, 2 different tanks) have resumed eating since the blackout. Our power was down 24 hours. Any suggestions?

He looked cool... I'm sorry for your loss. Hearing about that blackout is making me real paraniod going ahead.

Make sure you buy a generator if you live in a part of the country prone to storms and black-outs and, of course, even if you don't. ;) Irenicus, what is your avatar picture of? FOr some reason, I always think of the Rock in The Scorpion King when I see it. :)

Sorry about your loss and your tank situation.
I found a DIY battery back up sytem using a deep cycle battery a 300 watt power inverter and a trickle charger. a very compact unit that fits under your tank and comes on automatically when the power goes out. I'm looking into building it now.
