What is the difference between the two?

the short version:
merletti is the smaller polyps that are about dime size, maybe smaller, maybe a little bigger
wellisi is a large polyp, like the size of a quarter-half dollar... or larger or smaller
I always go with the bigger polyps (wellisi)

Thanks for the info, I have a wellsi as well but just wanted to know the difference. Here is a pic of my huge polyp, there are about 7 smaller ones also but unseen in this photo...
