bleached coral

i have had this little guy for over 7 months. first 3-4 months he was good. then my tank went through a really bad time and the frogspawn became bleached. recently [2 1/2 months ago] i converted my FOWLR into a REEF and a week ago i moved this little guy there. he doesnt look any better than he did in the old tank [which i will soon be taking apart]. any suggestions on how to bring him back. i have sucssesfully revived my shrooms from the other tank and a bleached candy cane that i recieved from an online store. i was wondering maybe there is something i can do like feed it or move it to a diff area inmy tank.
thanx for any help in advance.

well he looked this bad in the old tank even after i changed all the bulbs and major water changes. that is why i moved him to a new tank that has a bit more WPG and a bit cleaner. im planning to take the 25 gal tank apart so little by little im moving everything to the new one.

is he opening up at all or does it just stay like that
if it is opening up just keep an eye on it and look for any color change or more opening

I've got the same problem, but mine is a white hammer coral with two branches, instead of the three branches like yours. They open and close at random. However, I did notice a pattern. When I turn my lights on in the am, they're open. Later in the afternoon, they're almost closed. Not sure if all the crab, snails, hermits are crawling over him. Temperature and lighting are good.

mine just stick out the tentacles a little bit but deffinitely not the way they used to be open and huge. their mouths are costantly open though:notsure:
