Bleaching BTA???

I have a BTA for almost a year it was in my 55 under 5x54W T5's I moved it to a 140 with 2 X 250 Watt MH with 2 96W PC Actinics (SP?) Funny thing is it appears to be loosing some color? Why would this happen? Are the new lights too strong? The BTA is attached to a rock on the bottom right of the tank not directly under the MH? It is eating and otherwise looks healthy!!

I have little tyo no experience with the effects of changing my lights but it sounds like the lights are too bright and bleaching it
