what mixture is used to restore coral to that nice white color it is when you buy it

Don't rightly know......I started a sw in January and I've never used anything not alive and well......not a single piece of dead or artifical decoration......but I've heard that you can wash them in a light bleach solution ......sun dry for a few days.....rinse well and stick it in the tank.....myself all I have is live rock and live sand....with critters and stuff everwhere.......
