I recently got a beautiful 3 inch Crocea clam 3weeks ago. I have a smaller 20 gallon tank with a blennie, a 7 line wrass and the fish in the top pic. Well when I first got the clam, it was open and HUGE and so pretty. Now, over the past week I've noticed that the blennie is sits on it once and a while and is nipping at it when it starts to open. It now barely opens. How do I stop the blennie from bothering the clam? Im afraid it will kill the clam. Any sugguestions? The to pic is of it open... the second pic at the bottom is what it looks like now.
