Blennies?

I was going to get a lawn mower blenny and a midas blenny next week and introduce them both at the same time. Can this be done with the same species in a 29 gallon FOWLR? And what are your opinions on both of the fish?

I have a lawnmower blennie and he is awsome. I have had him for a while now, but just make sure your tank has been up for a little bit so he has something to eat. mine after a while would start to eat when I would feed, but he still went nuts all over the tank. but introducing the two together im not sure on that. never done it, but im sure there is someone in here who has and could help. But I say go for the lawnmower. I have always have one in all my tanks.

I've kept both when I had a 54 corner. The midas can be territorial which could pose a problem in a 29. If only picking one, I'd definitely pick the midas- they have an awesome personality. Inquisitive and pugnacious.

Blennies in general just have a great personality and are an awesome addition to a tank. Personally, I would choose one or the other, not both in that size tank.
The lawnmower blenny needs established rocks to pick on, they usually don't survive when introduced to a new tank.
I've owned a lawnmower, combtooth, and a tailspot blenny, all had very similar personalities (my favorite is the tailspot), so the choice is really up to you. They can all be territorial, but the midas is usually the most aggressive. Midas blennies also have been known to pick on gobies, firefish and mandarins, just keep that in mind.

I just took my lawnmower back today :( he was one of my fav's but this last week he went nutz and bit of all of my bi-colors tail down to a stump, took out half of my 4 wheel gobys top fin and half of my geo pixie hawk. He was cool for 6 months then recently wont take a liking to any new fish. I would say anything less than 50 gallons could be bad. I have seens this. Also my friend has a lawnmower and a $45 yellow blenny and he yellow is starving to death since the lawnmower beats the heck out of it.

lawnmowers can be very, VERY territorial. Most blennies are territorial. My black combtooth can be sometimes, he's usually okay, but if he sees my two dwarf angels fighting, he joins in and is very protective about his "cave" the other fish just know not to go there. They usually get more aggressive if you a) don't have enough LR for them to hide in b) too many fish c) they're starving
