Blenny bit me

So I noticed that one of my frags fell off a rock into the back of the tank and I went to reach for it, and the next thing I know my blenny jolts forward and bites my hand. Is this normal and will I be ok? I don't have any cuts or anything from it and I'm not exactly sure what kind of blenny. He's black with white specs and is omnivorous.

Feeling envenomated? if it wasn't a fang blenny, I'm sure you're more than ok... just wash with soap and sterilize your hand. They do protect their territory lol.

Yeh I'm pretty sure its not a fang blenny. I was pretty scared when he bit me cus hes never done that before.

My bicolor blenny bit me EVERYTIME I put my hand in to do anything. Guess he liked his privacy

mine bit me a while back. didn't hurt or nothing but i thought it was funny.

My lawnmower bit me once as well, felt like a quick scrub with course grain sandpaper.
