blind flame angel ?

I just returned my flame angel back to main tank after
maracyn 2 treatment for popeye...both of his eyes were
infected and now I believe he is blind.
Is there any chance of recovery?
I would hate to see him dwindle away slowly and will put him
"under" if no chance for recovery.

Can you be more specific? What make you think this? How is the fish acting? Is the fish eating? Are the eyes hazed? What's the problem?

His eyes are swolen like popeye but have turned albino white,
he swims aimlessly and bumps into rocks and tank.He has lived
a year with my clown and never blundered to that area before.
Now he blunders in and is attacked and does not seek shelter
in the rocks. He swims in cirlces He does not go after the food
but seems to know its out there and cannot close in.

I kept him in a 10 gal , the dosage said 2 tablets first day
and then 1 for each of the remainging 5 days based on 20 gal,
so I did 1 tablet for the first day and about 3/4 for 5 more days instead of 4. I had a majestic with him for same problem.
He is now in good shape.(although eye is still "popped" but not
discolored.)

I did not reduce dosage. The dosage was based on 20 gallon
and I cut it in half for 10 gal tank. And as I said. the majestic angel
is doing fine. Are you saying that I should have ignored the
directions??
