My blue devil looks looks like he ate a marble  Anyone know what could be wrong with him? I've had him for over a year and a half......

Anyone? He seems fine otherwise. Maybe he just developed a beer belly (I wouldn't be surprised in my house!!!)

Is he still eating and swiming normally? Did this develop overnight or over time?
He may have an internal infection. Do you have a QT? What do you feed the fish and have been careful to only offer your fish fresh foods?

Thanks Beth!! He seems to have developed this quite suddenly. He is eating and swimming normally. I put him in QT yesterday because it isn't resolving. What should I do? Could this have spread to my other fish?

and I forgot....I feed krill, brine, Omega One flakes, two types of dry Seaweed Salad, occasionally ground, fresh shrimp and (newly added for my Tang) frozen Formula Two algae. Maybe one of the above is getting outdated?:notsure:

Can you get a pic up? I have a perch that is such a ravonous eater that he looks like he swollowed a marble as well.
Since the fish is in QT, you can give a course of Maracyn Two for Saltwater Fish, antibiotic treatment for gastrointestine infection.
