Blood red fire shrimp

Our new 24g aquapod has been up for 12 days now. still not sure on the cycle, ammonia has never shown a definite rise, no nitrites, no nitrates. going to wait another two weeks to make sure before I add livestock.
Question is, my wife and I were at a reef shop that's about a 100 miles from us, they had a blood shrimp and she has fell in love with it.
Any opinions out there on it going in the pod when the time comes?
If it will make a good choice I'm going to ask our LFS to get one.

They should be reef safe. They get slightly larger than the skunk cleaners, but it shouldn't be a problem in a 24g tank.

Thanks for the input
, I'll tell the LFs to order me one. They say that sometimes they are kinda hard to come by.
My Darlin' little wife will be so pleased.

Hey Mike22cha, what in your opinion is the best fish place in the city.
We have a new swf store here in Ardmore, the two guys running it are real knowledgable, just not much inventory yet. There are also two others, one thats about a year old thats pretty good, (nice guy), and one thats been around for a long time, I'm just not real sure about.

In the city the best lfs is Reef Shop Warehouse.
Pet Vet sells a lot of diesed fish.
Wet Pets is also a good store.
But overall I love Reef Shop Warehouse because the first day I went I talked with the owner and he has a lot of expierence with saltwater and does something with the educational system in Ok so he knows how to give advice. They have great looking lr and have awesome reef displays.

Thanks!
I was in the city last week to see the doctor and stopped by the reef warehouse, I wasn't very impressed when I drove up, but definitely changed my mind once we went in.
BTW that's where my wife saw the blood shrimp.

A little late, but the shrimp is awesome. It is reef safe, the only complaint I have is that I only see it when it is feeding time. There is a bit of a difference in the size our our tanks though. You will see him much more than I can in mine. My wife also picked that out and loves it. Just a shame we hardly see it. I will be purchasing another one for my tank, and when she gets her nano in her office, one will go in there. They are very pretty...

We didn't get the one at the Reef, just a browsing stop.
I talked to the SWF store here in Ardmore about getting one, he said that he would try this week when he went to market. I let you know when we get one.
