i know that the blue angel is from the reef. my question is that will a blue angel eat live coral or anemones? definetly or maybe. if so, could i get him used to eating frozen foods and brine before i introduce any corals or anemones so he wont touch them. all input appreciated. thanks

blue angels are very agressive, get really big, and are not reef safe at all. they will eat/pick on corals. they are one of the most agressive angels also. they can reach sizes around 18". bo

Most all the Angels that get large will finally start to munch on your corals. Some advocate moving them but then how do you catch them in a full reef. A lot of smaller dwarfs work out well and can stay there for life.

Seems a lot safer for me to just stay with my coral beauty.......keepin a balanced reef is difficult enough.......I'd be scared to add a potential trouble maker to the mix
