From a book.....
Blue Angelfish Holacanthus bermudensis
To 15 inches
From E. Atlantic
180g or larger
A sponge feeder, in home aquarium may eat special Angelfish foods
Mostly hardy if fed properly
Not coral safe
Older juvies or young adults acclimate better than others sizes
Gets mean as ages
Needs lots of swimming room and hideing spaces
Do not keep with other large Angels
Will crossbreed with the Queen A.
Adults look much different
Juvies look simular to H. passer

Barry, have you looked into a Majestic or Regal Angel? Generally they are reef-safe. In fact, Steve Weast has a Regal in his reef. Granted, there are a few here and there that will pick at stuff, but generally they won't. As far as the Blue Angel goes, if you want to keep JUST softies, then I would definetly recommend him, but most likely you will want other corals besides mushrooms, leathers, and zoos. Although, having just a huge variety of those would make for an interesting reef. Here's a link that may help you out...he talks about the Majestic Angel in general...oh, and did I mention it'll only get about as big as a yellow tang? (8")

If you like the look of that Angel, check out juvenile Queen Angels. Looks very similar as juveniles, but IMO much better looking as an adult. I have one and it is a very great fish. very interactive but not at all reef-safe.

Ocean Nutrition's frozen Angel formula is very high in sponge and very nutritious for angelfish.
