Hi all
I currently am running a 55g fish only tank.
With a purple tang, fiji damsel and a Asfur angel. I am currently considering aBlue Boxfish. Has anyone ever successfully kept them before? are they docile or agressive
My current setup is a wet/dry, magnum 350, Sea Clone and emperor aquatics 18watt UV serilizer and powermax lighting system

I have tried these fish before, once with the blue boxfish(male),and another time with the black boxfish(female). They are very difficult fish to keep! They are prone to ich and cloudy eyes.I had the male for about 3 weeks and it died,I had the female for 1months and it died. Also they can poisin the tank if they are really distressed from being sick or being picked on.When the female was dieing it's eyes were bulging out but it was still swiming, the next morning I woke up and my maculosis angel,2 hippo tangs, yellow tang, and blueface angel were all dead. I would not recommend them!

dasnake has said it all I too have had bad results with a pair of boxfish and they took out a whole tank a few years back. Better to be safe then sorry- pass on it.
