Blue Devil Fish

Im not referring to damsels either. My LFS has a Blue Devil Fish for sale for 600 bucks. I have looked up stuff on the internet because the fish quite frankly is not that great looking. It seems that when it matures it gets stunning coloration. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about these that would shed some light on the outrageous price.
Here is a pic. The one in the store must be young because it has only a dull blue coloring over its entire body.

edit: it looks like it is protected in australia, maybe that has something to do with the price. I hope its legal for him to be selling it.

Yes, at the only place in town that would have it.;) It has been there for a few months now. Much like that huge Queen trigger they have.

It seems like they are not only protected but are also very hard to find since they live alone in caves and stuff, maybe why the price is so high. I read that divers dont see those fish much.
They do look very beautifull all growed up.

I am assuming the one in the pic is an adult. The one at my store is a dull blue but it is solid, no dots. He is about 5" long, and I would assume doesn't get much bigger than that. Here is another pic I found that is a little different.
