BLUE/GREEN AND RED ALGAE STARTING UP..WHAT CAN I DO?

I have a 175 gallon salt water tank with
med harlequin tusk
med puffer
med clown trigger
med grouper
sm lion fish
and two eals.
I'm starting to have light algae problems.
water quality is:
0 ammonia
0 nitrite
40 mg of nitrate
and ph of close to 8.8
I did a 30 gallon water change today.
what can i do to get rid of the algae?
I use ro water and have a berlin protein skimmer

Well, your nitrates are a bit high. What are our phosphate readings? In the tank as well as your mix seawater before entering the tank? What type of substrate are you using and do you have live rock?
What type of filtration are you using?
