sure i think it would make a great addition. they are very active... well most are. they burrow so make sure you have a deep-ish sandbed. oh and a big thing to remember!! they are JUMPERS! also i think i heard somewhere they are hunters for pods and such so maybe an aged tank would suit it best?

My dad told me he didnt think you could add any fish after you put in a Flame Angel. This is a FOWLR 55g thats been set up for 9mo. I would like to add another fish or 2

I had a flame angel and added a blue gudgeon and it was a bad mix, you have to take caution adding any fish after you added the Flame Angel. The Flame will get very aggressive. I had to fish mine out and sell him.

ooh sorry i must have missed the flame angel... yeah the best way to add fish is by adding the nice ones first. seing how your flame has been in there nine months i dont have a clue on what you could add that is not more aggresive than the flame its self. you could try this though, mess around with the aquascaping a bit right before you add the new guy. this should get everyone back to neutral... teritory wise. or even better if you have a QT, use that to put the flame in for a couple days or until your new fish becomes used to your tank then put the flame back in (after you reaquascape of coarse).
