Blue Hippo Tang - Eating Problem. Help Please !!!

Hello All
Finally, I bought my hippo tang that I have long be wishing for. It is around 5 inches long, costing me $40. I think for this size, the normal price is $55. So, I got a good deal from a LFS that I have good relationship with.
When it sees food (I use brine shrimp), it does not catch it efficiently (although it has the intention to eat). I feel it does not see clearly. Besides, it's motion is too slow. Other of my fishes (e.g. scopas tang and domino) swim a lot faster and catch all the food before this hippo can touch it. I put down two frozen cubes last night. It could manage to grab only two bite. Besides, it always like lying on a bed liked rock. I blocked this bed last night in order to make it expore to food. One way to get it more food exposure is to put more frozen cubes to the tank. Of course you can imagine it could over feed other fishes (the scopas tang has a big belly now) and make the water worse.
I am afraid that if the situation continues like that, this blue hippo tang will become very skinny and eventually pass.
Any recommendation?

Try feeding nori sheets rolled up like a cigarette on clip, this will take the others awhile to eat give the hippo time to eat also. Brine shrimp is not that nutritious for your fish switch over to mysis shrimp, much better for them. Was the fish eating ok at LFS?

Mr. Limpid...Seems a good idea. I do have some nori at home but seems not good. I heard we should buy non-processed nori. I think mine is processed and have something like: "soy sauce, spices, and sugar in the Japanese style or sesame oil and salt". Do you know where I can buy non processed nori?
A while ago, I did see a customer in a LFS to ask their staff to feed the fishes to see if they eat well before making the purchase. In my case, I think I should have done the same but I didn'. So, I don't really know it's eating situation before making the purchase. My fault.

Sorry to hear that live and learn, also B4 you buy a fish watch them to make sure they are swimming normal and look for any
marks, spots or discoloring.
