blue hippo tang has a "pimple"

My blue hippo tang has a small pimple-like lump on her..
it is located just back from the exact center of the fish.
There have been no new additional changes in the tank and she is eating and swimming fine, but i am still worried.
any advise would be welcomed.

Color, size, shape? Is it protruding, or even with skin. Can you post a pic?

Color is white, slightly protruding, it looks just like a small white pimple would apper on a human, only its on my fish.
I am unable to post pics, even though I have a fine digital camera.

ich????? white spots mean ich.... get the fish in an qt tank if it gets worse or spreeds.

Josey, how long have you had this fish? Do you have a magnifying glass? If so, use it to give the fish a good look over from fin to fin, then report back. Keep trying on the pic. Also, start feeding the fish food that has been pre-soaked in fresh minced garlic.

no, it dosen't look like that, but what is that by the way?
It has browned slightly and is receeding today..
it's had to get a close look because she is so "flighty", but I think it is healing.
fish don't get acne do they?

Perhaps a little scratch from rocks or an injury. Keep an eye on it and post back with problems.

Good news! The pimple has receeded completely, and my fish is fine!
