you should not have compatability issues with these fish if the tank can support them both. how big is the tank?

theres a very good chance they will fight, when u keep more than one tang they should be added at the same time and the aquarium should at least be 100g
you could try to catch your kole and rearrange the rock work then add both tangs into the aquarium

I have seen them kept together but they really should be added at the same time. I ordered my fish and got 1 that i wanted and one i didn't. I ordered a powder blue and a red sea sailfin and i got a powder blue and a lawnmower blenny? Anyway i got the right fish two days later and they do scrap a bit. I think it would be alot less if they were put in at the same time so just be careful and maybe do it in the dark. Good luck

From my experiance....theres a good chance that these two genus will ignor each other....true that many tang species will be aggressive to each other but mine was never.

You should be just fine with those two. Mine never bothered each other, my powderblue, that's a different story, very bossy. The hippo will do just about anything to avoid conflict, very timid fish. Kole's are not known to be a dominant tang. Your good to go. You never answered what size tank, this can make a huge difference.
