I have a 55 that I am planning on going reef soon.
Presently I have
Watchman Goby
2 Ocellaris
5 chromis
scooter bleny
BTA
Sebae anemone
Condy
multiple hermits and snails
I had asked a local warehouse about ideas and he had suggsted a blue jaw trigger
Now I would love to put that in there but I've also been told that these would destroy at least the inverts.
By the way is a blue jaw the same as a niger trigger?

Not the same two fish. I have one in an aggressive tank. Besides frozen foods he also eats live feeders. I would not put him in that set up. They are pretty and cool to watch when lying down though.

70 is the smallest size I'd put a trigger in and none can be trusted with inverts or cute tiny fish like gobies.

From what I have read. The blue jaw is typically not aggressive toward other fish. They can be housed in a reef aquarium, but they may pick on ornamental crustaceans espececially smaller, more delicate forms.
The sargassum triggerfish can be kept in a reef aquarium and will rarely harm invertebrates. However, it should be fed several times a day.
