Blue leg out of shell

Hi guys, just came home and noticed that one of my blue leg hermits is walking around out of his shell, I have only had them a few days and the other one is fine, I haven't got any extra shells yet, will he ever go back in, he is hiding now and his shell is in plain sight. Anyone have any info, greatly appreciated.

mine have never come off and i have had them for 1 year now

It may go back in it's shell when your light turn off for the night. You should also look for some bigger shells to place in the tank just incase it has out grown that shell.

mine come out of there shells alot and they die. they get picked off by my tang

They'll leave their shells to molt ... he'll be back in it when the molt is finished.
