blue linkia starfish eat what?

I have a blue star and I wonder what it eats. I heard clams. I have clams like the ones at the supermarket that I got in mexico. One day the starfish who nearly never moves climbs out and wraps itself around the clam. didnt do anything though cause the clam is still alive. Is the starfish starving.... how can I help?

Hello,i really don't know much about the blue
starfish.I have a Green Britle and a Red Srepent
and they both eat and seem to love krill shrimp.
