well guys... the time has finally come! i just talked to the owner of my lfs (marine biologist!!!!) and he said he will be getting some linkias soon. ive been waiting for over a month now and theyre finally coming! he says he only orders them if they can guarantee him they will come small. he says he refuses to order medium or big size linkia because they do not ship well. just thought id let you all know! any advice???? hope this works out!!!! they are the most beautiful starfish ive ever seen.!

I sincerely hope that your luck is better than most and I really hope that you get a good one. I would suggest to do the drip method for acclimation since they are so sensative to salinity. Just put him in and use a turkey baster to put your tanks water in until the salinity goes up to what it needs to or down for that matter.

be carefull ive heard if there out of water for more than 3 seconds theryll die although it will be gradual i dont know if this is true but it did happen to me

thanks for tghe pic yeller tang! thats a beautiful star. yuu must have an amazing tank. it looks so neat just from that pic. could you possibly write down some stats on your linka???? what you feed, how often etc.... if you have time!

he hasnt got em yet. hes gettin them aftre the next shipment. (about a month) oh well atleast i will finally get one. ive had my name down on another lfs list for sooo long. i cant wait! flame!
