How long should your tank be established before you add a Blue Ribbon Eel?

At least a year, but preferably closer to two. They are very delicate animals and need a very stable tank.

Be warn they are picky eaters.

I've done research about how to get them to eat and information about them, but I didn't know how long a tank should be set up before I get one...
