Blue Spot Jawfish

I am wanting a Blue Spot Jawfish. I found one at a LFS for $75. Unfortunally I am not ready for fish yet. I asked them if they can get them in the future, He said yeah, not a problem. He also said that these fish are cold water fish around the 68 degreee mark. If I were to put it my reef tank, it would eventually die. Is there any truth to this?

yes.
blue jaws are susceptible to "Blue spot jawfish disease", in which they die off due to high water temperatures and parasites found in those temperatures. I believe they should be kept in species only, or with other coldwater species, like pipes or horses.
