blue spotted puffer

Been thinking about getting on of these... So do you guys think they will eat clams. I know Toby puffers go either way. Anybody got any experience?

My guess is that it will at the very least irritate it until it dies. If the clam is in the tank first, chances of it's survival are better. Keep Mr. Puffer well fed and QT him so you can observe how aggressive it is with food, might be worth trying out a smaller $20 clam or a large snail in a QT before letting it in the DT.

Never thought about trying a small clam in qt........ I just love the look of the blue spotted puffers. That I may give a try thank you.
