blue spotted sharpnose puffer

i've had this puffer for about a month now and it's doing find except for the fact that it started to get this skin condition on the top right of his back. the fish is alert, still has a massive appetite...pretty much acting normal. the condition on his back looks kinda fuzzy white like fungus, but it also could be blotchy. but i can't be too sure cause everytime i get close to look at it he turns with his left side facing me. i really like this puffer and i want to fix it. any ideas?

Take a look at the pictures of lymphocyctis in the Diseased Fish Topic, top of this forum, to see if it looks like that.

it's not lymphocyctis but it's similar to the smaller spots...the white spots on his fin seem to be part of the fin, kinda see through. i hear these puffers can have parasites when first bought. what would that look like and how would i go about treating it?
