Does anyone know how difficult these are? I have 180 bowfront tank thats cycled and ready for fish... soft substrate, the works. Are they worth the hassle?
no, since most will die on the 6month mark, aside ur tank needs to be about 70-120gals bigger, contrary to popular belief rays need a much larger tank than sharks for their disc size
I would look into the yellow rays. A yellow would be a little cramped, even in a 180g tank but you could pull it off as they are extremely hardy and stay a reasonable size in my experience. Blue spots are much more delicate and need alot more room.

have u considered a coral or marbled cat shark? both stay fairly small and would do well in a 180
