I can only find information on Bluespotted Grouper - Peacock Hind -Cephalopholis argus
If this is the fish it is hardy but needs very good filtration. Can grow to 16.5" so it needs a big tank, like most groupers. Will eat smaller fish and crustaceans.

no, bluestripe groupers (Cephalopholis boenack) is one of the lesser agressive groupers. it will eat anything that will fit in its mouth, but it usually wont harass other agressive fish. they grow to around 14", need a 100 gallon tank. very easy species to keep. bo
