Blue Tang Advice

image.jpeg image.jpeg Is it normal for Blue Tang's to have a faded look on the black part? We just got our first Blue Tang & when I got it home & under our tank light I noticed it. It has no white spots so I don't think it ick. It just looks faded.
Any ideas?

They constantly wedge themselves in rock work . Have mine for a year and he still does it. Could be he just scraped himself. I wouldn't worry about it

It's probably just a scrape (as mentioned above). Keep an eye on it to see if it spreads, if so then it could be a few things.

interesting.... mine is a bottom swimmer from rock cave to rock cave.... not a very show fish like I expected...... Being from the tang family, I was hoping that he would swim my 90 tank like my medium yellow tang..
