they r known to least likely eat inverts. but no one can really guarantee that. if u start off them small and its used to living with inverts, then it might not eat ur cleaners.

Just like the niger trigger, most likely will be fine but it usually depends on the fish and if you keep it fed and happy. Also what would you rather have a beautiful blue throat or a shrimp?

I've kept all my triggers including a blue throat trigger with cleaner shrimps with no problems once so ever. Add the trigger after the cleaner shrimp and you should be o.k.

I have a 72G sized tank and I have two triggers. A picasso and a clown. I USE to have two cleaner shrimp. Two days after I added my triggers, my cleaner shrimp disappeared...one got eaten by my picasso, the other I managed to catch before he got eaten, now he lives in my fuge. With my experience, and to save you some money, I'd say don't do it.

picasso and clown triggers are aggresive triggerfish.
bluethroats are much more docile.

I ended up getting a Naso Tang before the Trigger. I hope to get either a Niger or Bluethroat trigger in a month or so.
