BlueLine MH. Question to those who have them.

Do I need to supplement the light at all since it already has that great blue feel to it? I'd like to get get 2x250 watt BlueLine ballasts and get their 10K bulbs to put in, and then call it good. Actually at the beginning I'd go with only one on one side (power compact on the other) then eventually get the other.
How is your satisfaction with the product? Thanks for your time.

I think you are the best judge of what you like with respect to color but here is what I did.
Initially had 10k bulbs in 400 watt fixtures with no actinic support. The color was good and it stayed that way for a year.
I switched to 20K Radiums and added 2 160 watt VHO's. The Radiums were whiter IMO and the VHO really brought out the greens and blues. I like the actinic support personally.
As for blue line ballasts the only problem I have heard of has to do with the use of a neptune controller in conjuction with the ballast. Electrical interference from the ballast has rendered some (most) neptunes useless. Something to consider and ask about BEFORE buying if you are considering the use of a controller.
