These were my first. Pretty easy really. Have greens, too.

Righton. All I have right now are some zoa's and a regifted gonipora that i've managed to keep healthy somehow. Oh and my young sebae. I'm getting braver as I go along. I'm the kid who's read everything there is to read and finally takes a step into the water. lol.

I bought someone's tank and live rock. These were part of the deal.
I kept them alive for over a year with a pair of 40 watt 50/50 bulbs in a walmart shop light fixture!!!

They do seem much "happier" now with better light.

Wow ha. That's the way to go I suppose. Diving right in I mean. And I'm sure they do. When I knew I was going reef with this tank I immediately bought a halide fixture, well, my wife bought me a current sunpod. It does the job although now I wish I had the more expensive system.
My next stop on this hobby train is the reef ready 90gal I just bought. I have absolutely nothing to set it up with. Just the tank and stand. I plan on buying this and that until I have everything but the live sand and live rock. So who knows how long that'll take.

I like palys. I've never seen one feed, but i heard it's not much unlike the way an anemone feeds. That's cool in my book.

Yup, they just close up around it and suck it down. I had a single polyp that came on the same batch of rock and finally decided to get some more. I found a single polyp that detached from the colony at my lfs and they just gave it to me since i bought a powerhead, too.
I feed Marine Enterprises Invertebrate 1 to all my filter feeders.
