Both Female clowns?

So as some of you know originally when i got my clownfish the littler black and white clown became dominant and the fals perc was twitching. Now my false perc seems to be taking control, running him off from food and biting at him, chasing him around the tank. i noticed his bottom back fin is a little messed up. Could they both have turned female? Should i return the false or give it a couple day? Any suggestions would help. I really would rather not return him but my b&w is more important and expensive.

How long have they been together ? If there are bite marks or part of a fin is missing I would return it as it is very possible you have two females . If you get another one when returning the O&W Ocellaris , make sure you get one that is smaller than your B&W .

The easiest but not always true way is to look at their tails. If the b&w has a white stripe on the end of it's tail then it is an adult not a juv. (male or female could be either) If the o&w has a black stripe on the end of it's tail then it is an adult (same as above). If neither has the stripe on the end then they are still fighting for dominance one will win sooner or later.

I never heard of that being true and think it is more of a myth .

I have multiple mating pairs and your stripe thing is not accurate .

Go look at your baby's between 6 and 10 months and see if the stripe on their tail is solid or broken ALL of mine are on the occ.
