Bottled vs. RO water

Is store bought bottled water (the purified water you see in the 5 gallon jugs at most every supermarket) comparable to reverse osmosis water when it comes to filling a marine aquarium? Thanks in advance!

Probably not, but no way to be sure but to sample the bottled water. Where's the RO water coming from....

In about 2 weeks time I'll have my RO system installed in my home and will use that water from then on... in the mean time I've been getting my RO water from my lfs. It's just alot closer to the supermarket but I don't want to take any chances.

I'd just check the water quality of the LFS or the other water source before using.....

+1 just because it's a fish store doesn't mean they take care of their equipment.
