Bottom feeders

I just started my tank 1 week ago.I have a 60 gal ,sand bottom,8 damsels.And the poop is starting to build up already.When and what can i use to clean up the bottem of the tank.
1st question many to follow.Thank You :help:

What size tank and is it cycled? What type filtration and do you have any powerheads?

Do you have a clean up crew?

i have a 60 gallon,1 fluval #204 filter,amd a aqua clear 70 on the top.only have 8 damsels in it nothing else.The tank started to cycle.Should i use power heads with this setup.Clean up crew? no i have poop all over.What can i use as a clean up crew.?snail/shrimp/crabs????

Well it's to late to tell you not to cycle with live fish, but I'd add a couple of powerheads to help keep the waste suspended so the filter can get more of it. Assorted snails and hermits would be good choices, but not until the tank has cycled.
