So as of yesterday, my 55 gallon has finished cycling! I went to ***** after work since the lfs was closed and picked up a CBS. Though it wasn't too lively at the store, I took the benefit of the doubt and figured it was just chillin. I brought it home and acclimated it and all. 50 minutes under drip acclimation. He still was so-so in moving. I put him in the tank and he did okay for a little until he let go of the rock and started floating until he got behind my rocks. Then I found him upsidendownnrightbarter, and since then I haven't noticed much movement... At all. He even started floating around again. Is he dead Orr???

Aw... bummer hard lesson. Fish and SW critters are not puppies. They don't rest and take naps. When you don't see an active creature, don't purchase it. Try and watch it eat before you buy it and take it home, whenever possible. Don't select a critter that has chewed fins or missing legs, cloudy eyes...select only the perfect.
Big Sigh...this is why I purchase on-line. At least if the critter dies within the 14 days you can get a replacement. I am so sorry for the loss. Those are mean shrimps, are you sure you want something that aggressive? I have read of them going after fish and they kill cleaner shrimp.
