Bowfront Owners and others please Help!

Hello,
I am converting my 28 gallon bowfront to a reef and I am upgrading my lighting. I like the 150 wt. Sunpod 1x 150 mh and am wondering how bad the shadow from the brace on the tank will be? Does anyone have experience with this dilemna? I could buy the 36 inch Sunpod with Dual 150, so one is on either side but then the moonlights will hang off the side and 300 watts on that tank is 10 watts plus a gallon. Any thoughts?

I have a 46 gallon BF and the shadow is not bad, but my light is about 9 inches above the water. I also run 2 VHO's. Get the 2 light one if you can, but the 1 light one should be fine. I keep lower light LPS like blastos under the brace. Also play's, zoo's, and ricordeas should be fine unde the brace.
