Box Puffer Fish???

Is there someone out in fish land that knows something about ( Box Puffer Fish ) ??? What do they eat and how big do they get??? Scarlet Hermit>>>

as in spiney box puffer fish? if the answer is yes.then Yes I do.depending on his size foods will vary.very small small krill and mysis shrimp .chopped squid is also part of a good diet.i suggest using a garlic supplimet also such as garlic extreme.presoak food in water with 2 drops garlic this helps keep fishes imune system strong.for larger boxfish puffers 4 inches and larger. I feed silverslides,krill,larger peices of squid, raw shrimp with shells on.as they get bigger they tend not to bother with smaller bite sized foods.they also like scallops and crab.hope this helps ps this is basicly the diet for all puffers.

Do appreciate the information on the Puffer. I saw 2 of them at the ( Shark Reef Store) here in Silverdale, Wash. They are still small, I didn't want to buy him or her and find out he is going to eat some of my other fish.

they are very docile fish I wouldnt suggest keeping him with fish extremely smaller than he is.I dont know if he would eat them or not but i know they can.I keep mine with large species he pretty much keeps to himslf
