I don't actually have one of these fish. This is a pic of one of my client's tanks and I just have a pic since my tank could not house a boxfish like this. They get big............real big!! I often live vicariously through the photos that I take.
ryebread, 2 questions...by client you mean fish store or camera store? and what camera did you use to take the picture of the one you titled "squarepants". that is amazing quality, are you selling that camera, if so how much?
By client, I mean a man in my area who owns a 300gal FOWLR who has hired me a couple of times to shoot stuff for magazines and web stuff. As far as the camera goes............that particular shot was taken with a Nikon Coolpix 5700 that I sold to Jarre a couple of weeks ago.
no no no, i wasn't trying to be a smartass at all...i wasn't even relating to your above post. i was asking if you knew anything about it, and if it would work well enough so that if i have a question about my tank i could post a clear enough picture of what it is...you work in a photography store right? so would the 30 dollar one work well enough for my needs?
Sorry..........I often assume that everyone is as sarcastic as me. I am not sure of the specs on the camera but, I do no that the metering system in the camera probably stinks.........not to mention the close-focusing capability. Maybe there is a cheap miracle cam out there that I don't know of though.
