Brag about your Lighting Sys....

Give me some idea about what kind of lighting system I need to get by bragging about yours..
Also help me to understand the differences..
(i.e. Metal Halides vs. VHO etc.)
Where would I be without u guys?

i have a 29 gallon reef and i use 130watt power compacts for soft/hard/sps/lps/and anenomes in my tank they are all doing awesome

its two sixtyfive watt power compacts. i got it from nanoreefs.com i wanted to be sure i had enough light for my corals so its stacked with multi levels so some can sunbathe and others can chill in the shade.

I have a 65G reef with an Icecap 660 with 3 X 36" tubes for 285W, next week i will add and 175W Metal Halide power also by Icecap! That will be 460w alltogeter on my 65G. <img src="graemlins//eek.gif" border="0" alt="[eek]" />

Currently running 2 250 watt HQI MH on 92 gal. Both using 10000K (1 AB, 1 Ushio). PLan on adding at least 3 55-65 watt PC.

I have a self contained burning sphere of hydrogen gas.....wait, that's the sun. I have 6 110w VHO's on my 120 and 90 and 4 110w VHO's on my 75. I am very happy with them.

I'm running six 3ft(96watt) VHO's and a 175 watt 10000K ushio on my custom 100 gallon.

all my tanks have their own custom made hood(by myself), and this is what they have.

all my 40 gallon farm tanks

all theese lights are made by myself. i got all the ballasts at my local electrical supply store. saved tons of money that way.
