brain question

Last night i saw my sailfin tang nip at my open brain coral. The coral was inflated at the time and almost instantly deflated. Tonight he is still all deflated, is the coral just stressed or could the tang have been nipping at it at other times and it is starting to die. It still seems to have all its color, how would i tell if something is wrong with it?

i would think it is just stressed. i would put the tang in a seperate tank but thats just my o.c.d talking.
