Brain Red Flower not opening any ideas?

Bought it from this site a week ago Tuesday and it hasn't opened yet. Tissue looks healthy and is not deteriating.
SG 1.026
PH 8.3
Ammonia, Nitrite, Nitrates=0
Temp 78-79°
440w VHO's

All my other corals look great and are thriving.
Any ideas?

do u hv it on the sandbed? bc thats where it likes to be. mine normally opens up and feeding tentacles spread out at night after the light is off. its tentacles pack quite a punch, so dont place next to any corals.

Yes, I have it in the sand bed and it is isolated. I have had certain type corals that didn't open for a while after introducing them but this one has taken the longest thus far. Just curious if it was the norm or if I needed to do something else to help it out. My favia has its tentacles out at night but I haven't noticed any coming out of this one.

do u hv any soft corals such as leathers? if so, u might want to run carbon. leathers, at time, will release chemical into the water hurting lps and sps corals.

Also make sure it is not getting too much light. They like to be shaded.
It is getting more vho light and a lot less halide but I will move it to more shade and see if that helps.
